This route is a quality ride shared by the Cape Fear cyclists.  It is defintely good quality country cycling.  Drive out 421 from Leland past the bike route 5 turn, til you get to Highway 210 (20 minutes down 421).  Park at the corner grocery at the 421-210 intersection and follow the map counter-closkwise.  It is 42 scenic quality country miles with only a few stretches of broken pavement, and several river crossings.  Another store is the break point at the 210 jaunt past the 1550 intersection.
